UK retail giant GAME has started distributing emails about the arrival of Spider-Man in Marvel’s Avengers, claiming the web-slinger will be available in March 2021. Developer Crystal Dynamics has so far only confirmed the character is launching in early 2021.
It's crazy that a Spider-Man is an exclusive. You might say it suck that not everybody will get to play the new SM game but that's the world we live in. The alternative would be no exclusives ever and that is not going to happen. As mentioned, Crystal Dynamics hasn’t officially confirmed exactly when the web-slinger will be available in Marvel’s Avengers, but GAME are usually pretty on point when it comes to this sort of thing and it seems legit.
Spider-Man is an exclusive character to the PS5 and PS4 versions of the superhero title, something which has been made clear on the game’s newly-updated box art.
Marvel’s Avengers is due for release on PS5, PS4, PC, Xbox Series X and Xbox One, with the current-generation editions out on September 4.
